Fire Scars Linoleum Block Print
I decided I wanted to try and see if I could complete a print start-to-finish in one day. I got the carving done and a rough proof print done in a day, but it ended up taking several more days to get a full edition finalized. Put it out as a free print and now 60 of ‘em are en route to different homes all over the US and Canada. Thanks to everyone for the support on this one, let’s do another free run sometime soon.
The print subject is the base of a Ponderosa Pine tree in Leavenworth, WA with the lower bark turned a blackened charcoal from a wildfire.
